Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of NewsBeats — a service that turns news articles into AI-generated songs, operated by AUGUSTO ZANGRANDO SOLUÇÕES EM TECNOLOGIA, CNPJ 41.030.697/0001-20, Avenida Carlos Lacerda, 1525, Itaboraí, RJ, Brazil. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
NewsBeats lets you paste a news article URL, choose a tone and a music style, and receive an AI-generated song with lyrics and audio. We also offer curated daily editions, public discovery feeds, playlists, and downloads.
2. Eligibility & Account
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use NewsBeats; minors may only use it with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
3. AI-Generated Songs & Lyrics
Songs and lyrics are produced by artificial intelligence based on your inputs. Output is provided "as is" and may be inaccurate, satirical, opinionated or unexpected. NewsBeats is a creative tool for satire and commentary — it is not a news source and should not be relied on as factual reporting.
4. Your Content & License to Us
You retain ownership of the songs you generate. You grant NewsBeats a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transcode and display your content as needed to run the service. If you choose to make a track public, you also allow other users to listen to it through NewsBeats.
5. News Articles & Source Material
You confirm that any URL you submit points to a publicly accessible article and that your use of NewsBeats does not violate the source publisher's rights. NewsBeats does not transfer ownership of any source content; the original rights remain with the publisher.
6. Acceptable Use
Don't use NewsBeats to create content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, that impersonates real individuals in misleading ways, or that violates third-party rights. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Subscriptions, Tokens & Billing
Premium is a recurring monthly subscription billed through Stripe. Token packs are one-time purchases. Prices and what each plan includes are shown at checkout before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel at any time from the Account page and keep access until the end of the current period.
8. Right of Withdrawal & Refunds
If you are a consumer in Brazil, the Consumer Protection Code (CDC, art. 49) gives you 7 days from purchase to withdraw from a purchase made online and receive a full refund. After that period, used tokens and elapsed subscription time are generally non-refundable, except where consumer law requires otherwise. 9. Disclaimers & Limitations
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NewsBeats and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for AI output that does not match your expectations. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Suspension & Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to other users, our partners, or the service.
11. Governing Law & Forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Brazil; if you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of domicile, as guaranteed by the Consumer Protection Code.
